The people at Think Big Start Small aim to leverage both a film and an outreach organization to create something from nothing, hope from despair—they’re working to help people get the education and opportunity to help themselves through entrepreneurship.
Their documentary focuses on a moving story captured and directed by filmmaker John Scheinfeld, and produced by Carol’s sister Kathleen Ermitage, about five children in America who capitalize on opportunity through entrepreneurship to change the world for women in developing countries. Empowered through education on microfinance, young entrepreneurs are born, and they share their journey of spreading opportunity to others in need.
